Who is behind The Telephone Box?

My name is Robert Ingham. Born on the Isle of Man and raised in England, my story is deeply engrained in British culture. After coming to Germany with the British army, I found a new home here, but never lost the appreciation for the iconic designs I grew up with.

How it all began.

A few years ago I came across one of those classic red telephone kiosks near Bielefeld. Seeing her there, so far away from home, triggered an immediate fascination in me. It was more than just a phone kiosk; it was a symbol of timeless British design and a piece of history that unfortunately disappears from our streets today. 

This moment inspired me. I wanted to give others the opportunity to own a piece of this heritage. All our telephone kiosks are authentic British Telecom originals, professionally restored in England by experienced craftsmen and then shipped directly to you worldwide.
