Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

If you are a consumer (i.e., a natural person acting for purposes which are wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession), you may have a right to withdraw from certain contracts within 14 days without giving any reason.

Important: Many of our products are made-to-order and/or sourced and prepared specifically for an individual customer (including “Project Boxes” and refurbished/restored items). In those cases, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply (see “Exclusions” below).

How to exercise the right of withdrawal (where it applies)

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement.

R.I. Global Ventures Ltd. (trading as “The Telephone Box”)

Registered Office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom

Company No.: 17271648

Contact: via the contact form on this website

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your withdrawal communication before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal (where it applies)

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

Nature of our goods (historical / used items)

Our products are original historical items and are generally not new. Signs of age, prior use, and historical characteristics are inherent to the goods and do not constitute defects.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty or not as described.

Carrier delays / transport disruptions

Delays, rerouting, carrier restrictions, or other transport disruptions caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (including geopolitical events, sanctions, security risks, port/route closures, customs delays, or force majeure) do not constitute a defect of the goods. Where such events occur, delivery times may be extended accordingly.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the goods are faulty or not as described.

Exclusions / when the right of withdrawal does not apply

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and are made on the basis of an individual choice of or decision by the consumer, or that are clearly personalised.

This may include (without limitation):

“Project Boxes” and other items sourced to order for a specific customer,

refurbished/restored items where refurbishment/restoration work is commissioned specifically for the customer,

customer-specific accessories and configurations, and/or

custom paint colour or other individualisation.

In particular: where an item is sourced specifically for you and we have purchased the item from our supplier for your order, the statutory right of withdrawal may no longer apply.
