The K6 (Kiosk No. 6), designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and introduced in 1936, is more than just a telephone box, it is a globally recognised symbol of British design and culture. Originally, thousands of these bright red kiosk characterised the streets of Great Britain. Today, as they have disappeared from everyday life, we offer you the rare opportunity to own one of these restored originals.

The Restoration Process: 7 Steps to Perfection

Each telephone box in England goes through an elaborate, seven-stage restoration process. We guarantee the highest quality and authenticity.

Complete disassembly

Sandblast

Painting

The kiosk is completely disassembled into its individual parts to make each area accessible.

Old paint and rust are completely removed to create a perfect, clean base.

The frame is primed and receives two layers of the classic, currant "Post Office Red".

New Components

Door reconstruction

Royal Crown

New signs, hinges, leather straps and modern safety glass are expertly attached.

The door is rebuilt with new hardwood and cast iron frames, which is faithful to the original.

The iconic golden crown is carefully restored and painted gold.

Final inspection

Each kiosk is checked by an engineer before leaving the workshop.

Your telephone box will be delivered to you safely in a robust wooden box by freight forwarder. The dimensions of the packaging are 270 × 120 × 120 cm with a weight of approx. 790 kg.

Important for unloading: For unloading you need a forklift, tractor or crane. Please organise this before delivery.

Foundation: For a stable installation, we recommend a concrete slab of at least 100 × 100 cm. Details on installation and mounting can be found in our detailed customer guide, which you will receive with your quote.
